Overseeing the Spiritual Health of the Church…

Jesus Christ is the head of the church. Living Hope Community Church desires to follow Jesus according to His word to accomplish His will.  We realize that true spiritual health is only possible as we obey God’s word and, therefore, we are committed to preaching that is short on jokes and stories and long on Biblical truth.

Scott Kalevik has served as our pastor since the inception of Living Hope in 1996. He holds a B.A. from C.U. in Psychology and Philosophy. He also graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Denver Seminary.  He is married to his beautiful bride, Peggy.  Together, they authored Living Hope Today: A Daily Devotional as a tool to strengthen and encourage believers in their daily walk with the Lord.

Oscar Andrade has served the people of Iglesia Esperanza Viviente for more than 15 years.  Oscar’s passion to know Jesus Christ and to obey His word is contagious.  Oscar and his wife, Olga, have served the Lord for many years from Costa Rica to Los Angeles to Aurora.  

Elders are tasked with the responsibility of overseeing the spiritual health of the church. The elders meet regularly to pray for the people of Living Hope and to ask the Lord for His guidance. They serve those at Living Hope through preaching, teaching, guarding and proclaiming God’s word.

Team Leaders serve this congregation by carrying out the necessary tasks to allow the church to operate well.  Their expertise is essential to the function of this body.

1 Peter 5:2 “Care for the flock of God entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly–not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God.”
