The people of Living Hope Community Church come from a broad spectrum of social, racial, economic and educational backgrounds. On the surface we may not appear to have much in common. However, we do have at least one thing in common: We have been forgiven and set free from sin through the love of Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us that heaven is a place where “people from every tribe and nation and people and language” will gather in unity to worship Jesus. At Living Hope Community Church and Iglesia Esperanza Viviente we feel like God is letting us get a taste of what that will be like.
If you like warm, friendly people who love God and will care for you, then you’ll feel at right at home! To read our beliefs – click here.
Our range of musical styles in worship reflects the diversity of our people. Preaching is biblical and Christ-centered. Prayer is emphasized.
Living Hope Community Church was founded in 1996 by a group of believers who shared a desire to serve Jesus Christ in North Aurora. In 2002 Pastor Carlos Aguilar, along with his wife and three children, arrived from Amatitlan Guatemala to begin the Spanish speaking congregation known as Iglesia Esperanza Viviente. These two congregations comprise one church and are committed to serving the Lord and each other.
